Guinea pig, tossed from 8th floor, lives

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Some Indiana University students could face a hefty fine for tossing a guinea pig -- attached to a makeshift parachute -- from the eighth floor of a dormitory.
The students used a garbage bag, dental floss and masking tape to create a parachute and then dropped the animal from their dorm window, Bloomington Animal Shelter manager Leigh Ann Hoffacker said.
The guinea pig landed in a tree and survived. The trembling rodent was discovered moments later by IU freshman Laura Robinson.
"My friend and I were on our way to get some lunch and we looked up and we saw her fall into the tree," Robinson told The Herald-Times for a story published Friday.
School janitors were able to reach the animal through a third-floor window, and Robinson took it to the shelter.
"There was string and tape tied around it, and it had some hair ripped out from the tape. It was really sad," Robinson said.
The identities of the students who tossed the animal from the building have yet to be determined, but Hoffacker said the list has been narrowed down by dorm administration. She said police likely would not do much, but the shelter's animal control office can issue a $500 ticket for animal abuse.
"Whoever did this did it in broad daylight," Hoffacker said. "They just didn't care, and I think it is quite disturbing."
The guinea pig appeared to be recovering well.
"She was scared and cold and shaking when they brought her in," Hoffacker said.
"But now she is eating some alfalfa and seems just fine."

School has been very busy, and Ive been hanging out after school too much. I hardly go home, and it makes me exhuasted. Im not used to driving so much. Man are people ungrateful. Pisses me off with such an abundance of ungrateful acts. Dissapointing. Well today took George home, play video games man that always helps, then i went to get jece her gift, for the sercret santa. That took about an 1hr. Went home revised my proposal for my scout project. Then drove all the way out to Arcadia wilderness park, up in the moutians, submitted my proposal and model, I hope my superviosr recieves it safely. Then I drove home, stayed for about an hr and a half. Then I drove to get food, and then pick up sean. Then to the School Banquet. Pigged out and took 7 sodas. Hahahh Carine I have all the sodas "WOOOBBBB!?!?!!"*Retarded Face* *Retarded Ears*Oh man Carine ADD. Saw midget Sandra and Dezi, hung out with Kris, bored watching them play Do you love you neighbor. Lets see do I love my neighbor, the cramers. Hmmmm No. Jking. I beat Crystal then I went home.

Medesto, what an annoying trip up. People stop walking up and down the aisle. Dammit. Woke me up 3 times especially the back of the bus. 5- 6 hours is long time to be on the bus. We got to the hotel room at 7 and played DDR for a bit, but then to many people came in and I stopped playing. That night we went to bed at 330-4, cuz of some certain circumstances, someone being a dumbass. So us other 3 messed with this one guy. Well waking up at 430 completly killed me, it was nice weather though. 50 degrees or so. Well compeition we got 14th out of 14th. Really sad, all the bands completly killed us. We had the senior circle thing which I often think is pathetic cuz u lose players. Well it turned out to be that way. Didnt make a speech, cuz i dont care for band. I just care for my certian friends. Ill make sure to do something before the end of the year. Well we went back to the bus after that and went to sleep untill 4. At 430 I went up in the salute line cuz we are seniors blah blah. And dude this one girl had a bad cammeltoe, we felt sorry for her yet disgusted. Then there was the total humiliation of being 14th. That night we took the x-bo away from edmunds and wons room. And we played fable. Awsone game. We were pramnked called by everyone all night. Finally no more band.
My friend I am sorry for what you are going through. I wish the best for you, and I hope it ends.

Finally updating. Band has been a failure, its funny how much it suxs. Go Pit. I wish there was someone to help the band. School has been dificult probally due to the college apps and the projects weve been getting. Iv'e also been working on my eagle project, which is taking a while. Time is very scarce, I need more. But then who doesnt. This weekend was quite full, on wed i did not get home till 9 o clock. On thurs i met with my group, to discuss what to do. I then went up to the arcadia wilderness park and talked to the lady supervising my project. Argh thats going to be a lot of work. Then I went to Georges house and played games and DDR, and watched movies with him and Rachel and joyce. Friday was a much longer group project. Hahahh that was really funny. THen I forgot what I did after that. On saturday was a band competion, 6th out of 5th, hahah inside joke. We got last though. On the bus ride back, man how freakign annoying! I swear! Nywho sunday, today ive been working on my APps and my essays for kavinagh all day. To much computer time. Also I feel Special :)

Hahaha man Gamecube is so fun. I wish i had one. But noo. Only ps2 which is only good for playing by urself. So anyway I went to Yens suprise party today. And had good food. Right now Im watching my shows on Tv and no one is online, wierd for a Saturday night. Well I guess a lot of people went to all star and got tired. Wimps, just kidding. Man I wish I had my whole Macromedia Studios again, so I could start creating stuff again. Movies, animated gifs, proper banners, all matters of things. Stuck with paint only. Hahah im random, but oh well.

I need a haircut, but im bold as it is, so that makes me not want to have a haircut. But then it curls if its to long. I want striaght hair. Just like if a girl has their hair down,long and straight is the hottest. Down, long and curly on a girl is 2nd hottest. Nywho fartface is my slave. hahahah. I just relized that we have a band competition next saturday, yes. Its such a disgrace to call what we play music. More like random notes put together. They make the pit waste time they could be memorizing music in the band room, by making them go to the field, where we have to watch the band do sets over and over again, so the pit doesnt get too play. Thus wasting valuable time, but sure lets do it. School, i finally have the best teachers i can have. Today i went to packman, with my little brown brother, hahah. He beat me in every game pretty much, oh well. At least i got to play ddr to Butterfly, and Bumblebee. Fun songs. the end

I decided to finally update this journal. England was really fun, and relieving. It was so nice there. I stayed with my Relatives in Woodbridge, Southwould, Wellingborough. Only see them maybe every 3 years. They were really nice, and they fed me way too much. Even fatter, yay. I visited oxford, the best college in the world, hahah. Its a really nice town/campus, cuz its mixed together. Also saw some hot girls, lol. We went to London, Blenhim and various castles and historical houses/palaces. My little cousin tired me out as usual. Luckly he can occupy himself with his games now, and not bug me. I can still make him cry, hahaha. Hes spoiled so he deserves it. Well I saw 6 movies on the plane trips that i havent seen before. We had pretty bad seats but at least none of us sat next to any strangers. I wish the trip was longer than 2 weeks,which is a really short visit. Oh well, time for school.
